On February 23, 2008, I was a victim of a very serious automobile accident that left me ventilator dependent and paralyzed from the neck down. It wasn’t long after my initial hospitalization stay that my case worker was planning where I was going to be discharged. My mother and my Aunt, who would have taken me home, researched and found New Start Homes and contacted Mary Williams. After reviewing all our options my family and I knew that New Start’s Program was where I needed to be. I came to New Start 2 1/2 months after my injury and have never looked back since. After watching my testimony you will see how incredible and special the New Start Program is.
